The leather is wonderfully soft, but it is thin, and when it's loaded with stuff it's just too unstructured and sack-like for my taste. I also had issues with the handle staying on my shoulder, so I'm sending it back. (Not a deal breaker for me, but the dark interior lining made it really hard to see, find the pockets, etc.) However, all that said, I do think it's a beautiful, quality bag; it just wasn't quite to my taste.
